What forms of payment do you accept?
Universal Mania accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and payments via PayPal™. All prices are stated in U.S. dollars.

Will I get charged sales tax for my order?
Universal Mania collects and remits sales tax in North Carolina and California. All orders that are shipped to these states will be charged a sales tax. The sales tax charged will be the same that those states currently charge.
Does Universal Mania ship to military addresses?
Universal Mania does not ship to APO, FPO and AE destinations for all items. There are certain items we can ship to these addresses so please send us an email and we will respond with the shipping cost. DO NOT place the order on the website as the system will not calculate the correct shipping cost. Please allow extra time to receive your order. These shipments take longer to process because there is extra paperwork involved. We can only ship via USPS and not Fedex to the military addresses so this adds additional shipping time. We cannot ship anything over 50 pounds to military addresses.
I received an email saying my order was cancelled due to an error?
Universal Mania reserves the right to cancel any order that may have an error in the price or description. All items listed come from an automated feed and sometimes may contain errors. Universal Mania will not automatically charge you a higher amount if the incorrect price was paid. The order will be refunded and you may repurchase the item at the correct price.
What is Universal Mania’s shipping options and fees?
Universal Mania offers Fedex ground and Express shipping. We offer standard ground shipping that generally takes 1-5 days depending on where you are located. We also offer expedited shipping to include Fedex 2nd Day and Fedex Overnight. Our shipping calculator will automatically calculate the shipping based upon your postal code. Orders generally take 24-48 hours to process before shipment. Some orders will take less and ship the same day but some may take longer and require an additional 24-48 hours to process.
If we offer free shipping in the U.S. on an item, it will include all of the states except for Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico. Residents of those states will need to contact us for a shipping quote before placing the order.
Can I place an international order through Universal Mania?
Universal Mania has been shipping internationally for many years and we do it quite successfully. There are certain items that can only ship within the United States and items that weigh over 150 pounds cannot be shipped internationally. Please contact us before purchasing to be sure that the item can be shipped out of the United States.
The customer is responsible for all custom and duty taxes imposed by their country. Universal Mania will not be held responsible for any custom and duty taxes and we reserve the right to collect these taxes from the customer before we ship the item. Universal Mania also reserves the right to charge the customer’s account for the custom and duty taxes that are unpaid.
I placed an order for U.S. delivery and selected Next-Day. Will this arrive tomorrow?
In stock items ordered Monday - Friday (excluding holidays) are usually shipped within 24-48 hours. Most of the time the order will ship the same day if placed before 1 P.M. EST and it will arrive to you the next day if overnight shipping is selected, but there is no guarantee that all orders will ship the same day. Barring events beyond our control, such as severe weather, your order should arrive the next business day. Please keep in mind that some remote areas of the country may take longer to service. You should always calculate 24-48 hours for the order to be processed before shipment. If you absolutely need the order to ship the same day then you will need to call our customer support and speak with someone directly.
Some of the products I ordered are on backorder. Is there an additional charge?
No. Your credit card will be charged for in stock items and for shipping. For a backordered item, we will charge your credit card when we are able to fill your order. There will not be an additional shipping charge.
Can I check the status of my order?
Yes. You can track the status of your order 24 hours a day / 7 days a week by logging into your account using your email address and password. Shipping and tracking information can also be obtained by logging into your account and checking your order.
Can I cancel my order after it has been submitted?
In stock items will be processed for shipping as soon as the order is submitted. If the order has already entered the shipping process when the request for cancellation has been received, the customer will have to pay for the shipping cost of the item being sent and they will have to pay for the return shipping cost back to Universal Mania. If the package is refused, the customer will be refunded minus shipping both ways (double original shipping cost). A restocking fee will not be charged but the shipping costs will be deducted from the refund.
What is your return policy?
Universal Mania offers a 30-day exchange policy from the original ship date for most merchandise. A defective product can be returned for a full refund or exchange within 7 days of receipt. Does Universal Mania charge a restocking fee for returned items?
Universal Mania reserves the right to charge a 15% restocking fee on all returns. Most unopened items will not be charged a restocking fee. What kind of warranty does my product receive?
All products sold by Universal Mania will come with a 30 day exchange option in case of any defects with the product. This enables the customer to send the product back to us within 30 days instead of dealing with the manufacturer. After the 30 days, the customer will need to contact the manufacturer if there is a problem with the product. All of the products sold by Universal Mania will come with the full manufacturer’s warranty. The length of the warranty depends on the manufacturer and what item is purchased. Does Universal Mania offer an extended warranty?
Universal Mania offers an extended warranty on select items. This warranty can be purchased during checkout. A warranty offered by Universal Mania will cover any manufacturer defect and any accidental damage to the unit within the warranty period. The warranty will start from the date the customer receives the product from Universal Mania. The customer will pay for shipping to and from Universal Mania if the unit needs warranty coverage within the warranty period. A new or manufacturer refurbished unit may be sent to the customer in exchange for the defective or damaged unit.
How can I get technical support?
Universal Mania does not provide technical support for any products. The manufacturer for each product has a dedicated department that provides technical support. Please contact the manufacturer of the product by going to their website. All phone numbers and email addresses for technical support will be provided on their site.
Why do I need to provide my e-mail address?
Your email address is used by you to create an account with us. This will enable you to check order status and also will enable you to receive future discounts. We will send your order confirmation and any updates to your e-mail.
Why do I need to provide my telephone number?
The shipping companies require a phone number in case there is a problem delivering your order. A delay in shipment may occur if a phone number is not provided or the number is incorrect. Universal Mania may also use your phone number to call and verify your order. It is important that a good phone number is used in order for us to confirm the order and to process it in a timely manner.
