INTERNATIONAL RETURNS - NonContiguous United States Returns
If you are outside of the United States, you are responsible for all shipping, custom, and import tax fees.
Contiguous United States Returns
You may return most items within 30 days of delivery. Some items are NON-RETURNABLE such as cartography and other products that have software. Not all non-returnable products are labeled, so please contact Universal Mania Inc. for further information on the item you are wishing to return.
Customers are responsible for ALLreturn shipping costs unless the return is a result of a mistake made by Universal Mania Inc. (i.e. Listing error, shipped wrong item, etc.). Exceptions may be made for items that are defective; however, most items are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty and adequate support may be obtained by utilizing that warranty.
Unless specified by an authorized Universal Mania Inc. representative, all cables, accessories and hardware must be included in your return WITH THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING. All returns will be inspected to ensure the condition of the item coincides with what was reported on the return request, as well as to match serial numbers. If these conditions are not met, the return may be refused, and the package contents will be sent back to you at your cost.
10% RESTOCKING/HANDLING FEES and SHIPPING COSTS (These fees cover shipping and handling costs that Universal Mania Inc. provides as a free service to customers)
All returns are susceptible to restocking and handling fees. Below includes, but is not limited to, a list of reasons that restocking and handling fees may apply:
- Wrong item was ordered
- Condition of the returned unit was not as described in the return request
- Missing original package components
- Other items are returned that were not authorized to be returned
IMPORTANT: IF YOU ARE RETURNING YOUR ITEM BECAUSE IT WAS DEFECTIVE, YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED ANY FEES UNLESS THE RETURNED ITEM DOES NOT MATCH THE SERIAL NUMBER ON FILE OR THE CONDITION OF THE RETURN IS NOT AS DESCRIBED IN THE RETURN REQUEST.
TO RETURN AN ITEM, YOU MUST BE ISSUED A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER. PLEASE EMAIL US AT SUPPORT@UNIVERSALMANIA.COM OR CALL US AT 866-903-0852 TO RECEIVE A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER. A RETURN LABEL WILL BE PROVIDED IF YOU RECEIVED THE ITEM DEFECTIVE. IF YOU ARE RETURNING THE ITEM FOR ANY OTHER REASON, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO PAY THE RETURN SHIPPING. IF YOU RETURN AN ITEM WITHOUT THE RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER, SIGNIFICANT DELAYS MAY OCCUR IN THE HANDLING OF YOU CLAIM.
PLEASE ALLOW 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS TO RECEIVE A REFUND ONCE YOUR ITEM IS RECEIVED BY OUR WAREHOUSE. YOUR REFUND WILL BE ISSUED BACK TO THE ORIGINAL PAYMENT METHOD.
SPECIAL RETURNS POLICY FOR ANY “PACKAGE” ORDERS THAT COME WITH FREE ACCESSORIES
All Package with free accessories purchases fall under regular Universal Mania Inc. Returns Policy in addition to the following:
- After 30 days of purchase, returns on any item selected in the package will be denied. If the product is defective, you will have to utilize the manufacturer's warranty.
- If a return is requested on a Talon for refund, ALL items from your order must be returned.
- Returns on ANY of the FREE ACCESSORIES can be for EXCHANGES ONLY (The exchange can be for the same accessory, or for one of equal value).
- All returns for a refund are susceptible to a Restocking Fee (Shipping Cost and Handling 10%). The 10% would be applied to the total value of the package that was ordered based on the current prices of each individual item included in your purchase. NOTE: RESTOCKING FEES ARE NOT APPLIED TO DAMAGED/DEFECTED RETURNS.
